The Elements

There are 8 Elements in the world (actually, there's 12, but we combined a few!). Can you believe that there is one made for you? We've broken down each element below to get some information about them. Then, we hand picked the colors for each of them based off what we think suits that element.

Fire

Zodiac Sign: Aries, Leo, Sagittarius

Planets: Sol (Sun), Mars

Time of Day: Noon

Season: Summer

The Fire Element is lively and spontaneous. People that resonate with the fire element tend to be more inspiring, intuitive, and have passion like no other. Like fire itself, people that tend to flare up when their inspired, making them seem very passionate. Not only do they flare up, they also rely on gut instincts. As the inner guidance make them go far, sometimes they can lose crucial steps and tend to forget about the emotional impact that their actions can make not only to themselves, but to others as well.

All of these colors symbolize energy, love, passion, and growth. With that, I chose those colors to be implemented with this element. 

Air

Zodiac Sign: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius

Plants: Jupiter

Time of Day: Sunrise, Morning

Season: Spring

The Air Element is intelligent and creative. It is the most versatile element because air takes no shape, which makes it more superior to the more material elements, like water and earth. Air also is the element of new beginnings and youth. Since it is associated with Spring and sunrise it is close to things that grow warmer and brighter, and animals give birth to a new generation.

Water

Zodiac Sign: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

Planets: Moon, Venus

Time of Day: Sunset

Season: Fall

The Water Element contains emotion and wisdom. Water, just like Air, is intangible making it superior to earth because it has more motion and activity than earth. Lastly, water represents moving past the peak, nearing towards the end of time.

Earth

Zodiac Signs: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn

Planets: Saturn

Time of Day: Midnight

Season: Winter

Earth is the most grounded of the four physical elements. It represents stability, fertility, and groundedness. It's also an element that can represent beginnings/endings or deaths/rebirths. Earth is the opposite of Fire, which makes it barren and calm.

Doing research on this was so much fun, but being able to pick the colors and put them all together was my favorite part! Being an air sign myself, I have to favor that over the others, obviously, but the rest of them look ALMOST just as good!
